A healthy relationship with others and ourselves are key components to a fulfilling life. I believe everyone is equipped with the tools they need to become their best self. As a therapist, I like to create a safe and supportive space to help others access their strengths and become their authentic, confident self. Self growth and healing can occur with an open mind and ones willingness to look inward. I strive to make sure my clients get the most out of their therapeutic experience by tailoring my approach to fit ones needs and goals. I have respect for the courage it takes to reach out for support, thus I feel honored to be a part of my clients’ journey in self discovery and personal growth. When working with my clients they will learn ways to cope with life’s challenges and on the way feel the need to laugh, cry and everything in between.

I received a Master’s of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Chico. During my schooling I worked at the Counseling Center at Chico State, where I discovered my passion for helping young adults transition into adulthood and the difficulties that come with big life transitions. After graduating, I moved to Silicon Valley and worked 2 years at a non-profit agency, where I gained experience working with youth at a local middle and high school, as well as with adults and couples in a clinic setting. This experience has helped me gain a deep compassion towards youth doing their best to cope with the heavy pressures our society puts on academic and career success. I also found my love for the LGBTQ community and helping people find self compassion and acceptance. I also have a great interest in helping couple’s communicate more effectively and finding a deeper, more meaningful connection.
