I use Brief Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavior therapy (CBT), and other evidenced based practices to support my clients in getting what they want and need from counseling. The overall objective is get them moving back in their life in the right direction. Whether you work with me or with another member of my team, you get the whole of Nugent Family counseling center. Bio:

I have a large family of my own – which has taught me how to accept others perspectives and collaborate

I got a bachelor’s degree in Education at Mills College. This involved an internship for a year at Oakland Children’s hospital – doing therapy with the patients.

I have a masters of science in psychology from Cal Poly SLO. I spent most of my internship counseling adolescents at school and working with parents and all the dynamics that come with family life

I have advanced training in Hospice counseling. Work currently with hospice and as a hospice trainor and as a therapist at the Nugent Family Counseling Center.

I am a brief solution oriented therapist.
