Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or facing life’s challenges such as major transitions and/or dissatisfaction with significant relationships; you are not alone! I am here to guide you and assist you in finding relief and getting back on track to lead a fulfilling life. My hope is that you would experience healing and enjoy a healthy marriage and/or significant relationship.
I have a passion to work with couples and I have completed the Gottman Method Couple Therapy level 1 and level 2 training. I offer couples therapy and couples counseling services including premarital counseling, couple’s communication skills development, intimacy issues, as well as couple’s conflict resolution. I also have experiences working with kids (k-5) through issues including ADHD, anger outbursts, and emotional disturbance due to parent’s divorce/separation and grief and loss.
As a therapist, I have the ability to connect with clients and maintain a therapeutic alliance through reflective listening and empathic validation. I take pride in providing clients with a safe and non-judgmental space to process your inner thoughts and feelings. In session, you can expect to feel respected and heard, as well as receiving professional guidance in finding answers to what brings you to therapy in the first place. My approach is client-centered, integrating CBT techniques and attachment theory, with a focus on mindfulness practice.
My other experiences include working at Santa Clara County Crisis Hotline and Santa Clara County Adult Protective Services, where I provide telemental health services and counseling to a diverse population. Moreover, my personal experiences enable me to provide a deeper understanding and perspective on the unique Silicon Valley integrative cultures.
I hold an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University, and a B.S. in Finance from SUNY Plattsburgh. I had worked in the finance industry for more than 10 years, as well as volunteered within the South Bay community in various roles. In my spare time, I I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, and playing the piano. I speak fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. 我精通国，粤语。
