When you sit down with me my you can expect a friendly, genuine, and engaging therapy session. I choose to focus on my client’s strengths, resources, and what they are doing right in their lives. This way we can develop ways to overcome the challenges that brought them to therapy. My practice emphasizes a bio-psycho-social approach to mental health counseling. You can expect treatment that is evidence-based, solution-focused, and centered on you. That way you or your child get the right results when you need them.
Working with children, adolescents, and their families. Specifically those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, educational difficulties, and medical conditions.
My experience includes working with the special education department of a local school district, The Bill Wilson Center, Evergreen Valley College Psychological Services, Hillside Children’s Center, Monroe Community Hospital, and The University of Rochester Medical Center.
I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and member in good standing with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I received my Master of Science from the University of Rochester Medical Center’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. The program emphasized Medical Family Therapy and learning in a collaborative, interdisciplinary context. I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University where I also served as the secretary, treasurer, and vice president of the pre-med student organization.
