In my career experience thus far, I have worked within a multitude of service areas
including hospice, child protection, development disabilities, substance abuse, severe
mental illness, and homelessness. I have most enjoyed my time working with children
and adolescents as there’s so much to learn. I’m also an advocate for early intervention
in order to get children and families the resources they need to be successful and feel
supported.
I hold a master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Community Mental Health.
During my undergraduate studies I graduated with a major in Human Services and a
minor in Psychology.
My approach to therapy involves meeting all my clients where they are at in order to
better assess immediate needs. A lot of my focus revolves around understanding all the
identities my clients possess and being able to help them navigate barriers. I utilize a
variety of modalities ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior
Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, mindfulness, Psycho-education, and Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy. I have experience running group therapy with both adolescents
and adults.
In my free time I love to travel, research food spots on Yelp, read, and spend time in
nature. I look forward to the possibility of working and growing together.
