One of the hardest things to do in life is to put yourself first. Living in the Silicon Valley has its positives, but many times individuals forget to take time to focus on their own personal growth and well being. I congratulate you on taking the first step in beginning your journey of self discovery and peace of mind.

Couple’s therapy, sex therapy, and trauma work.
While being a professional musician I discovered my passion for connecting with individuals. I enjoy helping others who are struggling to find happiness and relief in their life. As a therapist I enjoy being a keeper of your story and helping you through the difficult times in life.
I pride myself in helping individuals find the positive during their most difficult times. I aid clients in identifying how their strengths can help them overcome challenges. I am a well versed therapist that does not use one theory or technique during treatment. My toolbox of diverse skills allows me to provide individualistic and client-centered therapy. This way, I am able to customize your therapy process and ensure you get the most out of each session.
I received my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University. While at JFK, I found an interest in couple’s therapy, sex therapy, and trauma work. I found myself spending much of my free time gaining knowledge and experience in these topics. As a graduate student, I provided therapeutic services at a counseling center in Sunnyvale. There I worked with individuals who struggled with divorce, schizophrenia, PTSD, substance abuse, and suicidal thoughts. Toward the end of my schooling, I began working with middle school children who struggled in their mainstream school setting. The next chapter in my professional journey has been working for non-profit agencies that provide services for individuals experiencing an array of symptoms. I also facilitate a CSA (Children of Sexual Abuse) group at EMQ FamiliesFirst that helps victims of sexual abuse, as well as their family members and supporters, understand and overcome these trying life experiences. My goal is to provide my clients with emotional relief and increased daily functioning. My hope is that results come within a brief period of time, while still ensuring lasting change. I have conducted countless individual, family, group and couples sessions. I understand the importance each type plays in an individual’s life.
Change can be scary and difficult. But I believe that every person has the right to live a life that is full of happiness and enjoyment. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
