In my career thus far, I have worked in a multitude of service areas, including hospice, child protection, developmental disabilities, substance abuse, severe mental illness, and homelessness. I have particularly enjoyed working with children and adolescents, as there is always so much to learn. I am also a strong advocate for early intervention to help children and families access the resources they need to feel supported and achieve success.
I hold a master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Community Mental Health. During my undergraduate studies, I earned a major in Human Services and a minor in Psychology.
My approach to therapy involves meeting clients where they are to better assess their immediate needs. Much of my focus is on understanding the various identities my clients hold and helping them navigate barriers. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also have experience facilitating group therapy with both adolescents and adults.
In my free time, I love to travel, explore food spots on Yelp, read, and spend time in nature. I look forward to the possibility of working and growing together.
My Supervisor is Regan Hunt, LCSW # 22824
