Eileen Ma meets with clients through Teletherapy.
Anyone who takes the courageous first steps to therapy possess the innate strengths and abilities to thrive, but there are times when all the stressors in life can become overwhelming and cause a paralyzing feeling of being stuck. In therapy, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space to collaborate with clients to identify patterns that might be hindrances to becoming the best version of themselves. It is an honor for me to walk alongside clients on their road to healing, discovery, recovery and growth.
I hold a License in Marriage & Family Therapy and also have an Addictions Studies Certificate. I have helped counsel survivors of natural disasters in Japan and Haiti. I have also taught workshops in Psychological First-Aid and Basic Counseling Skills to community leaders and teachers in devastation areas. From my passion to do Humanitarian work in several countries, I understand the importance of multi-cultural sensitivity and have an ability to quickly connect with people of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. I graduated with my Masters degree from Western Seminary and Bachelors degree from UC Santa Cruz.
I work with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, substance abuse, co-dependency, life transitions, religious and spiritual issues. My approach is evidenced-based integrating CBT techniques.
