We all experience trauma in our lives, and sometimes severe life events and everyday stressors can leave us feeling stuck, depressed, anxious, and confused. As a therapist, I am here to work with you to go from just surviving to thriving. I believe that within each one of us lies a desire to live to our highest potential. As we develop from childhood, we accumulate a set of understandings that shape our thought patterns, which don’t always serve us in a positive way.
This can result in getting stuck in emotional, behavioral, and neural patterns that generate conflicts in one or more areas of our lives. I provide a holistic approach to treatment and believe that therapy is an opportunity to honor our experience and become friends with ourselves. I see the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and client as a partnership in which we journey together to bring about the change you want in your life.
