What is a Personal Coach?

Personal Coaches guide clients through a variety of behavioral health techniques and coping skills through a monthly video or phone visit and online/text messaging. Your Personal Coach will maintain an ongoing relationship with you, the prescribers, and/or the therapist to help support with effective treatment.

What behavioral health techniques are used by the personal coaches?

Behavioral health techniques used by our Personal Coaches can include: supporting habit changes, using grounding and breathing exercises, or assisting with self-driven or guided meditation. Employing these skills in conjunction with prescribed medication is very effective when treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, and others.

What medications do you offer?

Nugent prescribers can offer our clients a variety of medication options, including medication from the SSRI and SNRI families. They are provided to help individuals address symptoms of depression, anxiety, and/or insomnia.

Our prescribers start with the least evasive medication, such as non-controlled medication options, and generally at low dosage as medically appropriate. However, if insufficient for the individual being treated, then the prescriber can consider the addition of other medications or have the individual transition medications based on medical appropriateness.

Nugent can also provide medication treatment for individuals suffering from symptoms of ADHD, bipolar disorder, and PTSD as deemed medically sound.

Is there a commitment?

No, Nugent’s Concierge Service is a month-to-month subscription and can be canceled at any time. However, for the most effective treatment, it is beneficial to continue with a long-term treatment plan.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Please email admin@nugenttherapy.com with your request for cancellation at least 5 business days before your scheduled billing date to cancel your account. Once received the Nugent team will send a cancellation email to confirm your request. We attempt to respond to all cancellation requests the same day, however, please note that your account will remain active until your cancellation is confirmed by the Nugent staff in an email.

Once your cancellation has been processed, you will continue to have access to your records through Nugent, but your treatment and medication plan will be suspended.

The Nugent subscription model is a monthly recurring charge and the billing period begins from the time of registration.

Why do I have to upload a picture of my government-issued photo ID?

Your prescriber will need to confirm your identity and date of birth before you can be treated via telemedicine.

We also require an identifiable photo ID. This must include:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of birth
  • Expiration date (for legal purposes your ID cannot be expired)
  • Unobstructed photo of your face
